| L.I.F.E. Insights for Health Professionals
The staff of the L.I.F.E. Program welcomes the interest of health-care providers in our program. We strive to offer your patients an approach to their health that complementsnot competes withtheir primary medical care.
Whether you are a physician, a physician assistant, a family nurse practitioner, a registered nurse or other allied health-care professional, you are concerned with the core goals addressed by participants in the L.I.F.E. Program: enhancing adherence to health routines, including medication protocols; supporting immune function; and reducing risky sexual and drug-use behaviors. L.I.F.E. has been awarded contracts from the State of California Office of AIDS and the San Francisco Department of Public Health to conduct our program with those goals in mind. Our program operates with formal collection of clinical and psychosocial data to evaluate the success of our approach.
Please browse the Health Professional section of the L.I.F.E. Web site. If you have questions that you'd like to discuss in person, call us at (415) 674-4769, or send us a message.
We also encourage you to refer to us patients whom you think would benefit from the L.I.F.E. Program. They may call John Olesen, M.A., at (415) 674-4713, or send John a message. |
