Consultation and Coaching

SNTI provides consultation and technical assistance to volunteer managers, agency staff, executive management, volunteer groups, and boards of directors regarding volunteerism and volunteer programs. Whether one-on-one or in group settings, these sessions are guided by a set of objectives developed by the participant(s), such as enhancing specific skills, strategic planning for the volunteer program, resolving emerging issues, implementing strategies learned in an SNTI workshop, initiating organizational change, planning special projects, and much more.

Case Study

SNTI has provided these services to hundreds of participants in our workshops and to other organizations around the country. For example, we consulted with a small organization whose mission was to serve persons with cognitive impairment and the developmentally disabled. This organization saw as part of its mission the involvement of clients in providing services to their peers. SNTI staff initially consulted with a group of staff and clients. Together during subsequent meetings, the clients and staff developed a plan that enables clients to participate in creating and staffing a new client drop-in center. SNTI is proud to have been a part of this inspiring process.
