Working closely with our clients, SNTI staff designs and delivers customized workshops and trainings on a wide range of issues, including training for staff in all aspects of volunteer management: recruitment, screening, training, supervision, and retention; training for boards of directors and executive management regarding their role in building successful volunteer programs; and other general topics. SNTI can both design and deliver training, design only, or both design training and conduct a train-the-trainer workshop for staff who will be delivering it.

We also design workshops to address very specific issues encountered by our clients, such as strategies for implementing change and dealing with resistance among volunteers, working with diverse volunteer populations and cultural competence, dealing with volunteer/staff conflicts in a particular organizational setting, and much more. An area of special focus for SNTI staff is the design of training for volunteers and train-the-trainer workshops for staff on implementing these trainings, as well as workshops on building training skills and adult learning theory.
